Family Connection Groups

“Some days, ‘doing the best we can’ may still fall short of what we would like to be able to do, but life isn't perfect-on any front-and doing what we can with what we have is the most we should expect of ourselves or anyone else.” - Fred Rogers

Fred Rogers Institute’s Family Connection Groups bring moms of children ages 0-5 together to share in their everyday experiences caring for their children. During sessions, we draw from the wisdom of Fred Rogers and discuss the Six Fundamentals of Learning and Growing (self worth, trust, curiosity, solitude, looking and listening carefully, and play) and how these connect to being a mom. This is not a class, but an opportunity to connect with, and be supported by, other moms!

Family Connection Groups take place online via Zoom. We hope moms engage in meetings however they are comfortable and able - at home with a child on your lap, at work on a lunch break, or in the car driving to work.

Please complete the form below if you would like to be notified when the next Family Connection Groups are open!
