Our Team

As a Graduate Assistant at the Fred Rogers Institute, she has been working on website design in addition to helping coordinate initiatives like the 2023 Helper Awards. Marisa has also conducted research in multiple areas, ranging from social media to mental health. Marisa received her Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education as well as minors in Disability Studies and Children's Studies from Saint Vincent College in May of 2022. Marisa is currently working towards her Master of Science degree in Curriculum and Instruction. Her career aspirations are to create more culturally responsive curricula, with the ultimate goal being to help mitigate the continual achievement gaps in different subjects in education between students of different socioeconomic statuses, races/ethnicities, and gender. In her free time, Marisa loves to go to the gym, play basketball, spend time with her family and friends, and cook.
