This Toolkit was developed through the work of this IMLS grant and is designed to be a flexible step-by-step walk-through. Our main goal in creating the toolkit is that it can be used in whatever way helps people to reflect on and appreciate the depth of the simple interactions all around them.

Incredible learning can happen when we make time to slow down, pay close attention, and intentionally observe the world around us. This guide offers a simple way to practice exploring curiosity, careful observation, and slowing down with your students.
Educators in all sorts of settings may work with adoptive, foster, and kinship families, and the children within them. The lessons within this resource are to support those educators, as they in turn support these children and families.
