As a Graduate Assistant, Cynthia assists in and works among a variety of projects with students and other staff. Her work and research involves close collaboration with archive material, in order to enhance the experiences of children of all ages. She is currently working on two brochures that support and provide parents and guardians conversational points in talking with children about difficult topics, such as incarceration and mental health. Prior to her current role as a Graduate Assistant, Cynthia attended Saint Vincent College and earned a B.S. in Early Childhood Education. She is currently working on obtaining her M.S. from Saint Vincent College as well in School Counseling while she works as a Graduate Assistant at the Fred Rogers Institute. In her free time, Cynthia loves to attend Pittsburgh Penguins games and spend time with her niece and nephew. She also enjoys reading and running.
