Kenzee Knott

Graduate Assistant

Kenzee’s role as a graduate assistant allows her to work alongside the staff at the Fred Rogers Institute to celebrate and convey Fred Rogers’ values and long-lasting impact on our neighborhood and beyond. Her additional involvement in the Educator’s Neighborhood aids in the exemplification of Fred’s teachings through the emphasis on connection, kindness, and community. She also assists in the collaboration with undergraduate students in the Fred Rogers Scholars Program as they embody Fred’s ideologies through the implementation of community outreach. Moreover, Kenzee engages in the study of archival material through inquiry-based assessment and research. As an undergraduate, she worked at the Fred Rogers Institute as a work-study while obtaining her bachelor's degree in English with a Secondary Education certification. She was a previous Fred Rogers Scholar as well. While working as a graduate assistant, Kenzee is also obtaining a master's degree at Saint Vincent College in Curriculum and Instruction with a PK-12 Reading Specialist Certification. In her spare time, she loves to spend time with her border collie Winston and read.
