Kevin M. Talbert is Professor of Education at The College of Idaho, with two decades of teaching experience--first as a secondary school teacher and second as a college professor. His scholarship spans teacher education, foundations of education, curriculum studies, and cultural studies. Dr. Talbert began his involvement with the Educators Neighborhood in 2021. From 2024 to 2026, he was a Fellow at the Institute. He has been a panelist for EN events and presented on Mister Rogers and the Call to Teach at the inaugural The Work of Fred Rogers Conference in 2023. Talbert’s article, “Engaging Mister Rogers Neighborhood As a Great Curriculum: A Curriculum Critique”, appeared in The Journal of Curriculum Theorizing.
