Rob Nunn teaches fifth grade in Edwardsville, Illinois where he has taught for 21 years. He has a Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction and serves on his district’s Social Studies and English Language Arts curriculum committees. He was his school’s Educator of the Year in 2026. Rob has edited or co-edited five nonfiction books about Sherlock Holmes and his writings have been published in a number of books and journals.
Rob has been a part of Educators’ Neighborhood since 2023, participating in the Archive Study group for the last two years. He has been a panelist on a Family Digital Wellness Symposium and a guest on Listen to the Helpers. Rob has given presentations on Fred Rogers books, Fred’s speeches to adults, and Mister Rogers’ ideological similarities to Dolly Parton. He uses episodes of Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood in “Fridays with Fred” lessons to help students grow into their best selves.
